How to wire the wires of the LED display?



Friends who have participated in the assembly and installation of LED display screens all know that behind the beautiful and flat LED display screen, corresponding wires, network cables, signal lines, etc. In this article, we will explain in detail how to wire the wires of the LED display.



The first step is to select the cross-sectional area (thickness) of the wire according to the working current. Also according to the national standard, the conventional LED display power supply we use is 200W or 300W, and the input current is generally 20-25A, so the main wire connecting the power supply and the power supply is generally 2.5mm² copper wire.



In special cases, when the installation space is limited, or when the current and power of the LED display are large, for example, we use a high-power 400W LED display power supply, the output terminal is loaded with P10 outdoor 2S module, and the current load is large (such as 10A). ), we can choose to use 1.5mm² copper wire as the front section and 2.5mm² copper wire for the rear section, and the current of the power input (220V) is about 25-30A, so we use 4mm² copper cable.



The second step is the general wiring sequence. Conventionally, the LED display power supply we use is 200W or 300W, and the module power cable is terminated at 5V (or 4.5V) to the module power socket. The power input (220V) wire connection sequence is: red (live wire or phase wire) to the "L" terminal, blue (neutral or neutral wire) to the "N" terminal, yellow (ground wire) to the "ground" terminal terminal.



The third step is the distribution and wiring of the large screen. According to the national standard conversion, we know that the load power of 2.5mm² copper wire is 5KW, then it corresponds to less than 25 200W power supplies or 16 300W power supplies connected to a 2.5mm² cable, and each power supply corresponds to the corresponding number of modules and The area of the display screen, calculated according to this principle, can know how much power the power distribution cabinet of the large screen should carry, and the cable with what cross-sectional area should be used for the main incoming line.
